Literacy Service

Support for children and young people with cognitive and learning difficulties in literacy and dyslexia.

The Literacy Service provides support for children and young people with learning difficulties in literacy and dyslexia who have been referred to us through the EA Psychology Service.

  • We work to improve the reading, writing, and spelling skills of children and young people.
  • We support the educational development of pupils with a Special Educational Need arising from Cognition and Learning in literacy.
  • We do so by working together in partnership with children and young people, educational staff, parents or carers and other professionals.
  • We provide information, advice, training and guidance to families, carers and school staff.
