Children & Young People’s Strategic Partnership: This resource, created by parents for parents, addresses the whole life journey for parents of children with disability and additional needs. It is a live document which will be updated as new resources are developed.

ICAN: Children’s communication charity.

ELKLAN: Provides training for education staff and speech and language therapists. They also have an online shop for useful resources.

Stamma: Website provides information and support on stammering/stuttering.

The Communication Trust: Coalition of over 50 not-for-profit organisations. They support everyone who works with children and young people in England to support their speech, language and communication.

Regional Integrated Support Education Team (RISE NI): Website for parents and carers of children in mainstream nursery and primary school (up to P4). Includes information leaflet, suggested activities/resources and parent training videos to promote development of speech and language, fine and gross motor skills, and social and emotional development. RISE NI also provide information for teachers

Speech and Language UK: Changing young lives: Formally known as ICAN, Speech and Language UK have a wealth of information for parents on how to support their children’s language development.

NHS Leeds Community Healthcare: Leeds Community Speech and Language Therapy Toolkit contains advice, activities, and general resources to help with the development of children and young people's speech, language and communication skills.

Raising Awareness of Developmental Language Disorder: Welcome to RADLD.ORG, created to Raise Awareness of Developmental Language Disorder or ‘DLD’. (Previously RALLI campaign). Here you will find resources that explain what DLD is, the impact it can have, how to get help and how to raise awareness. Have a look, tell us what you think and send us your ideas. Buddy Chat: Buddy Chat is a video-based resource consisting of 2 lesson plans for teachers to follow.  This resource allows children to understand how a SLCN can present, strategies to be more inclusive with their peers/family members and reduce isolation of peers with a SLCN by utilising the Buddy Chat High 5 strategies. The aim is to support children to be kind and caring communicators within school to children who experience a speech, language and communication need (SLCN).  The lessons designed to be completed as an inclusive whole class exercise from P4.  They are underpinned with 5 practical strategies that children can implement in school and the wider community to understand how communication works and how they can support interaction with their peers/family members.
